Who we are
Every spring, Texas homeowners open an appraisal notice and get a number that feels like a bad joke. Most shrug and pay it. Others hire a contingency firm to fight it, and for plenty of homeowners that is the right call. We built housegeek for a third group: homeowners who want to protest on their own, armed with the same kind of evidence a pro would bring, and keep 100% of what they save. Our small operating team (product, data, and real engineering chops) works alongside one of the state's most respected senior property tax consultants (24+ years, thousands of successful protests). The goal is simple: give every Texan a fair shot at a fair assessment.
